Robert Garcia is the Finance Supervisor and Deputy Division Chief of the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA), a local government public entity established in 1985 pursuant to the Joint Powers Act. Robert currently sits on the Board of Directors for a newly created Alumni Association for his alma mater Mark Keppel High School in Alhambra. He has served for three years on the Board of Directors for the Cal State LA Auxiliary Services, a company responsible for bookstore, food service, and grant management for Cal State University where Mr. Garcia earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Robert has worked for the last 25 years in the accounting/finance offices for different non-profit/state agencies. For two years he was the Finance Manager for Cal State University’s Luckman Fine Arts Complex with responsibilities that included booking artists and the management of the Box Office.
